Arvind Kejriwal took part in a roadshow in Surat, Gujarat after performance in Corporation Elections
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal took part in a roadshow after the Aam Aadmi Party’s electoral success in its debut electoral local body polls. Making inroads in Gujarat politics, the AAP won 27 seats in the Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC). Addressing AAP’s newly elected corporators in Surat, Kejriwal slammed the BJP saying they are not doing great and there are a lot of issues.
Why has BJP been governing here for the last 25 years? It’s not as if they’re doing great. There are a lot of issues. Different parties come to power in states across the country but only one party is governing here. The Congress is being wiped off from everywhere, you must have heard about the municipal election results in Surat. Congress got zero seats in Surat. The Aam Aadmi Party is the only party to challenge the BJP across the nation.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal held a meeting with Uttar Pradesh farmer leaders on Sunday at the Vidhan Sabha in the national capital, to discuss farm laws and other issues. Delhi Transport and Environment Minister Kailash Gahlot and Minister for Water and Tourism Rajendra Pal Gautam and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh were also present in the meeting. The central government has offered to put the farm laws “on hold” for 12-18 months, an offer rejected by the farmers’ unions protesting against the laws.
I want to ask Centre how many sacrifices farmers will have to make, to get their voices heard. Every farmer has become Bhagat Singh. The government is saying that they are reaching out to farmers and trying to explain the benefits of Farm Bills. UP CM told farmers that they’ll benefit from these bills as their land won’t be taken away. Is it a benefit? What was the hurry to get farm laws passed in Parliament during pandemic? It has happened for first time that three laws were passed without voting in Rajya Sabha.I hereby tear three farm laws in this assembly and appeal Centre not to become worst than Britishers.
I appeal to AAP workers and supporters and the public to observe one-day fast tomorrow in support of farmers. I will also fast tomorrow. Some central government ministers and BJP leaders are saying that farmers are anti-national. Many ex-servicemen, national and international players, singers, celebrities, doctors, traders are supporting the farmers. Want to ask BJP are all these people also anti-nationals.
On the directives of Arvind Kejriwal, AAP’s every worker, MLA, MP and Minister is helping the country’s revolutionary farmers who are protesting on the borders. They are ensuring the availability of all facilities for the farmers. Every region of Punjab is sending its blessings to Arvind Kejriwal and AAP.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal asked the Centre to immediately and unconditionally hold talks with the farmers who continued to protest against the new agri laws for the fourth consecutive day on Sunday, staying put at the Singhu and Tikri border points of the national capital. The Aam Aadmi Party has supported the farmer’s protest and its national convenor Kejriwal asked the Centre to immediately meet the farmers. “The central government should talk to farmers immediately (and) unconditionally,” he said in a tweet.

Kejriwal’s Diwali Pooja has made poodles on both the sides uncomfortable. One side is afraid to lose its monopoly over Hindus and the other side is calling him a Sanghi who faked secularism. According to Islamist logic, a secular Hindu politician never does pooja. Oh My Goat.

Delhi has witnessed a jump in the number of COVID-19 cases. I think we can call it a third wave. We have been monitoring the situation continuously and there is no need to panic. We will take whatever steps are needed. However, there is scarcity of ICU beds in some big, private hospitals. But we are trying to set things right. The Delhi government had increased their numbers (ICU beds in private hospitals) but unfortunately, the Delhi High Court stayed our decision. We are moving the Supreme Court today to urge it to vacate the stay.

Since coming to power, Arvind Kejriwal government is showing its incompetency and are playing with the future of the children of Delhi. If Delhi government is unable to run education institutions properly, then they should immediately hand them over to the Central government. During elections, Kejriwal said we will pay the fee of students. But today, when their parents are in dire need such a relief due to COVID pandemic, then why Kejriwal & his Govt is mum on this issue?

Teaching & nonteaching staff of 6 colleges are unable to feed their families as Delhi govt has not released funds for their salaries for the last 6 months. Dy CM has now asked colleges to use student welfare fund to pay their dues. How irresponsible & shameless can this Govt be? For the last one year, Kejriwal govt has not given uniform fund nor deposited the fees of our school children of EWS category. Delhi govt can build a room for Rs 25 lakhs & do scams of crores of rupees, but is least interested in paying the rightful fees of our poor children.

Till now, the government’s policy required agencies to plant 10 saplings for each tree felled during their construction work, Kejriwal said during a digital press conference.
No one knows how much time these 10 saplings would take to grow. So, we are soon going to approve a new policy under which agencies will have to transplant 80 per cent of the trees affected by their projects to a new location. They will still have to plant 10 saplings each for every tree felled… The number of trees won’t reduce this way.
