I have a clear opinion that a man is not great by his caste, but by his talent. In BJP also we have different cells…When I was the party president, I had experienced this. I am of the opinion that no cell should be formed on the basis of caste and religion, as there is no use of such units. The representatives of such cells ask how many tickets people from their caste have got from the party.
I always say that our party, our workers are our family. We have never done politics on the basis of caste and community. We stand behind those party workers who work hard, considering them as the members of the family…This is the specialty of the BJP. We have never done politics of caste and community. Our party has never done it and will never do it. Caste is only in the minds of the leaders, caste is not in the in the mind of public or party workers.
The movement of rail traffic has been affected severely in Rajasthan due to the ongoing Gurjar agitation. Routes of as many as eight passenger trains in the Kota division were either diverted or changed due to the blockade, thus affecting traffic on the Delhi-Mumbai rail route. The movement of traffic was disrupted on the Bayana-Hindaun road.
A major Gurjar organisation started an agitation in Rajasthan over reservation on Sunday and blocked a rail track in Bharatpur’s Bayana. Due to the blockage, seven trains have been diverted on the Hindaun city-Bayana rail route. The massive protest comes a day after community leaders held talks with the Rajasthan government and reached a consensus on 14 points.
Few days ago, his (Abdul Hameed Salmara’s) own son Mohammed Faizal was arrested for molesting & sexually harassing a Dalit woman in Andhra Pradesh – Anshul Saxena
SDPI (political wing of PFI) leader Abdul Hameed Salmara is protesting with placard over the Hathras case. Well, few days ago, his own son Mohammed Faizal was arrested for molesting & sexually harassing a Dalit woman in Andhra Pradesh. But there was no placard then.
On the Hathras case, I have to say that there should not be politics in the name of atrocities on Dalits – Ramdas Athawale
What has happened in Hathras is most terrible. The incident of rape on a Dalit girl is a very serious issue. On the Hathras case, I have to say that there should not be politics in the name of atrocities on Dalits. It is not right to propagate about atrocities on Dalits during Yogi government. It is right that atrocities are taking place but it had been so during the Mulayam Singh Yadav, Mayawati and Akhilesh (Yadav) governments also.
Every day, nine Dalit women are raped in this country, this just shows the total lawlessness in this country! In the Hathras case, even in death, she was not treated in a dignified way! What can we expect from a state that has the highest crimes against Dalits?
Do people want to see a Dalit leader wearing torn clothes? Whenever anyone asks for help, I do not look at their caste or community, I do whatever is possible.
